Chestnut Pork Meat Pot Rice 咸香栗子猪肉煲仔饭



I've sore throat so I didn't pan fried the ingredients in this recipe. Totally steam cook it and it still taste so good.  I use my mini ceramic pot for SD-966 to cook portion of 2 (1 adult and 1 toddler) for me and my daughter.  Here is the ingredients :

Ingredients :
Pearl rice
Garlic
Small red onion
Chestnut (Pre-cooked)
Dried prawn
Pork (marinated)

Marinated Sauce :
Sesame oil
Liquid Amino
Pinch of salt
Corn flour

Method :

  • Pre-cooked chestnut until soft.  Cut into small pieces
  • Rest of the ingredients wash and diced.
  • Put all ingredients into the mini ceramic steam pot to steam for around 1:30 hours.
Ratio for rice : water = 1 : 1
