Homemade Chicken Pie

I love chicken pie.  So, I decide to bake my own chicken pie instead of go outside to buy in this freaking hot weather.  No way!  I made my filling yesterday.  So today I just make the pastry in just less than 30 minutes.  So much easy!  Here is the recipe below :

Pastry :
200g plain flour
60g parmesan cheese (optional)  I didn't put
1/4 tsp salt
130g butter
1 egg

Filling :
Chicken meat (cut into cubes)
Small onion (chopped)
Garlic (chopped)
Cheese & Herbs pasta sauce (I use prego brand)

Topping :
1 beaten egg
Sesame seeds

Method :
1)  To make pastry, combine all dried ingredients.  Rub in butter, add in egg, knead to form a dough.  Refridge for 30 minutes if the dough too soft and hard to shape.

2)  To make filling, pan fried all chopped ingredients and add in pasta sauce.  Add some water to make more gravy.

3)  Roll out the dough and press into tart moulds.  Spoon enough of filling, cover with a piece of pastry dough.  Seal well and press the edge with fork.

4)  Glaze with beaten egg and garnish with some sesame seeds.

5)  Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree C for 15-20 minutes or until cooked.

Steam Minced Potato & Minced Meat

Finally my LO can back to her normal healthy toddler's meal instead of adult's meal for several months. Today I feeling well and I decided to cook her toddler's meal - Steam Minced Potato & Minced Meat.  Very fast and simple dishes.  My LO love it and she finished it within 15-20 mins.

Ingredients :
Garlic
Potato
Marinated minced meat (Marinated with salt, corn flour, sesame oil, water, liquid amino)
Tomato

Method :
1)  Cut and minced all the ingredients except tomato.
2)  Mixed well to combine all ingredients and lastly put tomato cubes on top.
3)  Steam for 1 hour.

Note :
I cook this dishes by my SEED Electric Lunch Box SD-975.  Therefore I steam my 10 grains brown rice and above dishes in 2 separated pots.
