Tomato Minced Meat Japanese Tauhu 红番茄肉碎日本豆腐



My little one always love to eat something with tasty gravy.  Today I'm goin to make her favourite dishes - TAUHU - . Last week when we out for lunch, and I've ordered her a tauhu and let her serve with rice.  She love it so much.  So, I bought a Japanese tauhu yesterday and make this dishes for her as dinner tonight.

Ingredients :
Japanese tauhu
Tomato
Minced meat (marinated with sesame oil, pinch of salt, liquid amino, water)
Garlic
Pinch of salt
Pinch of sugar (I use brown sugar)

Method :
  • In a frying pan, heat up oil, stir in minced garlic.  Fried until fragrant.  Stir in tomato and minced meat, keep stirring for a while, and lastly add some water to make more gravy.  
  • Let it stew for a while and lastly add in japanese tauhu.  You can adjust the sweetness base on your own preference by adding salt and sugar.  Cover the frying pan and let it stew a while
  • Dished up

枸杞洋参麦冬


Today I boil this to my daughter to drink to prevent heaty on his body.  I use my SEED Electric Warmer Cup SD-919 to boil it.

Ingredients :
洋参
麦冬
冰糖
枸杞

Method :
Wash all ingredients except 冰糖 and transfer all ingredients to electric warmer cup to cook for 1 hour.

Hainanese Chicken Rice 海南鸡饭




Today menu for my lunch is Hainanese Chicken Rice 海南鸡饭 as I bought a pack of hainan chicken paste when I do my grocery shopping.  I only make 1 adult portion so I use my SEED Electric Lunch Box SD-975 to cook it.  I serve my chicken rice with my favorite kimchi.

Ingredients :
Chicken (Marinated with salt)
1 tbsp Hainan chicken paste (any brand also no problem)
Ginger
Garlic
Serai

White rice

Method :
  • Wash white rice and add in appropriate water in the pot of electric lunch box.  Add in 1 tbsp of hainan chicken paste to the rice and mix till combine.  Add in serai.  Set aside.  (As per picture illustration above)
  • Ready a piece of aluminium foil, put in chicken, ginger and garlic.  (Tips : You can marinated chicken with hainan chicken paste if you want heavy taste.) Wrap it and transfer it to another pot of electric lunch box as per picture illustration above.
  • Steam for 1 hour

Nasi Briyani Chicken Rice




Well, I have bought a pack of nasi briyani paste in the market when I do my weekend grocery shopping last week.  Today I'm goin to use it to cook my own version of Nasi Briyani Chicken Rice for lunch of me and my husband later.  I make it into 2 separated pots for 2 adults.  So all the ingredients I make it 2 portion as per the picture illustration above.  Again, I use my SEED Electric Lunch Box SD-967 to cook it.  Here is the ingredients :

Ingredients :
Rice
Garlic
Red onion
Ginger
Red chilli (take away the seeds)
Pinch of salt
Boneless chicken 
Potato 
Nasi briyani paste

Topping :
Spring onion

Method :
  • Wash rice and add in appropriate water (ratio = 1:less than 1)
  • Marinate the chicken with nasi briyani paste.
  • Add in nasi briyani paste to the pot rice and stir well
  • Add in all ingredients to 2 separated pots as per picture illustration above
  • Steam for 1 hour
Tips :
  • To adjust the water ratio of the rice to prevent it too wet, don't add too much water first. After 30-45 mins open to check the rice texture.  If too dry, then you may add a little boiling water and let it continue cook.
  • You can ready everything earlier and put back into refridge.  1 hour earlier before your meal time, you can start to steam cook it for 1 hour.  Here is the picture below :
