Pork Chop Rice


It's been a while I did not upload recipes to my blog due to busy with my new born baby and my little dragon at home.  Well, this is the pork chop rice I prepare for my little dragon as dinner last night.  The pork chop I already marinated since I bought it from fresh market and store all the marinated pork chop slices at my freezer.  When I run out of idea what what a quick dinner to be prepare for my little dragon, then I will take out few pcs of pork chop from freezer to prepare dinner.  I usually choose the pork neck meat (猪颈肉) as that is the best part for pork chop.  Well, below is the recipe :

Ingredients :
Marinated pork chop
Minced garlic
Broccoli

Marinated sauce :
Salt
Light soy sauce / Liquid amino
Dark soy sauce
Sesame oil
Black pepper

Method :
  1. Heat up oil and pan fried the marinated pork chop for a while.  It doesn't matter if the pork chop only medium cooked as I will transfer it to the rice to steam later. 
  2. Steam rice.  I use my electric lunch box to steam the rice and set the timer to 1 hr.  After 35 mins I add in the cube broccoli and my pork chop to the steam rice and let it continue steam with the rice until 1 hour.  I use this method so it won't be so heaty to my daughter.  
I use Seed Electric Lunch Box SD-967 and ceramic pot of SD-966 to steam the pork chop rice.
