Homemade Tomato Sauce 自制蕃茄酱




Above is the picture illustration on how to make homemade tomato sauce.  I think it is a very good recipe to save into my recipe collection.  Below is the ingredient and method :

Ingredients :
Ripe tomato

Seasoning :
Vinegar
Sugar (I use brown sugar)
Salt (optional) I didn't use salt
**  Tips : Adjust the sweet and sourness base on your own preference.

Method :

  • Wash ripe tomato and cross cut it as per picture above in order can easily remove the skin later
  • Boil water in a pan.  Once boiling, stir in all ready tomato into the boiling water and keep stirring for 1-2 mins.
  • Transfer all tomato to a bowl of cold water and remove the skin of the tomato
  • Cut into small cubes and blend it
  • Transfer the tomato puree to a frying pan and keep stirring with lowest heat until the texture look thicker.  Add seasoning base on your own preference.
  • After done, transfer your homemade tomato sauce to a clean bottle.  I prefer to put all the sauce into a glass bottle.

Boysenberry Yogurt & Prunes

My girl love ice-cream.  I don't wish to let her eat too much ice cream.  So I prepared this yogurt last night for her as a dessert and bring to school.  I use my SEED Mini Yogurt Maker SD-699 . I love this yogurt maker because I don't need to make a big batch of yogurt.

Potato Minced Pork Steam Egg 马铃薯肉碎蒸水蛋


I believe all mummies have the same wish as me.  I always wish my LO love the meal I have prepared for her everyday.

When I prepared this for my girl, she request for somemore when finished her 1st plate.  This is superb fast and easy recipe.

Ingredients :
Minced pork (Marinated with corn flour, sesame oil, water, pinch of salt and liquid amino)
Small potato (cut into small cubes)
1 egg
2 tbsp water

Topping decoration :
Basil leave
Dried parsley

Method :
Put all ingredients to steam for 45 mins.  After done, decorate the topping with above topping ingredients as per the picture.

I use my SEED Electric Lunch Box SD-975 to cook it. So one pot I use to steam rice and the other pot I use to steam egg.


Cheesy Steam Rice with Minced Pork & Bell Pepper 肉碎青椒奶酪蒸饭



After back from vacation, I start again my daily routine to prepare nice homemade meal for my lovely daughter.  This recipe i use my SEED SD-966 ceramic steam pot and SEED SD-967 base to cook it. 

Ingredients :
Garlic clove
Small red onion
Minced pork
Red chilli (cut into small pieces)
Green bell pepper (cut into small pieces)
Mixed brown rice grains
Garlic powder

Marinate sauce :
Sesame oil
Water
Corn flour
Pinch of salt
Liquid amino

Topping :
Grated natural cheese
Parmesan cheese
Dried parsley 


Method :
  • Soak rice grains with hot water
  • Marinate minced pork with marinate sauce
  •  Transfer all ready ingredients to steam pot and top up with topping ingredients.  Steam for around 45mins - 1 hour.

Steam Potato with Meatball 马铃薯蒸肉丸



Make this simple steam meatball dishes for my LO today.  Long time she didn't eat potato, so I steam it with potato.  She love it so much.  Here is the recipe :

Ingredients :
Minced meat with spring onion
Potato (cut into cubes)
Garlic
Red Chili

Marinate ingredients :
Corn flour
Pinch of salt
Sesame oil
Liquid amino

Method :
  • Marinate minced meat with marinate ingredients.  
  • Shape minced meat with spring onion into small balls.
  • Top up with potatos and red chili.
  • Steam for 1 hour together with rice in electric lunch box. I use my SD-967 electric lunch box to steam it.

Steam Black Pepper Potato Lamb Shoulder 马铃薯蒸羊肉 / Lamb Shoulder Soup 羊肉炖汤

Today I need to do a demo for my SEED Electric Lunch Box SD-975 (Click for more info).  So I introduce you guys 2 recipes for lamb shoulder.  Trust me, this really taste so good!




Ingredients :

Lamb shoulder 羊肉
Potato 马铃薯
Red chili 红辣椒

Marinate sauce :

Dark soy sauce 黑酱油
Black pepper sauce 黑胡椒酱
Sesame oil 芝麻油
Corn flour 玉米粉
Light soy sauce (I use liquid amino) 酱油
Pinch of salt 盐
Garlic (cut into small pieces) 蒜
Appropriate water

Method :
  • Cook lamb shoulder meat in a boiling water for 2 minutes to get rid of the blood water of the meat.
  • Marinated lamb shoulder with marinate ingredients above. 
  • Top up with potato and red pepper.
  • Steam for 1 hr - 1.5 hrs. (1 hr the meat already soft)



Ingredients :

Lamb shoulder 羊肉
Half garlic 半颗蒜
Water 水
Bone soup herbs pack 香料

Seasoning :
Oyster sauce 蚝油
Light soy sauce ( I use liquid amino) 酱油
Salt 盐
Dark soy sauce 黑酱油

Below is the bone soup herbs pack :

Method :
  • Cook lamb shoulder in a boiling water for few seconds to get rid of the blood water.  Drain and set aside
  • Put herbs pack to the bottom of the steam pot
  • Add in cooked lamb shoulder as well as half garlic
  • Add some black pepper 
  • Transfer to steamer to steam for 1.5 hrs.

Black Pepper Fish Steam Rice 黑胡椒鱼肉煲仔饭




I love this steam rice and trust me, this is really good!  I serve it with my little girl so I didn't put much black pepper sauce.  Here is the ingredients and method below :

Ingredients :
Pearl Rice
Garlic clove
Small red onion
Garlic butter
Half carrot
1 mushroom
Broccoli
Marinated Fish fillet (in cubes)

Marinated sauce :
Black pepper sauce
Oyster sauce
Sesame oil
Basil leaves 
Liquid amino / light soy sauce
Pinch of salt

Method :
  • Marinate fish fillet with marinate sauce ingredients.  Set aside
  • Wash pearl rice and add appropriate water (ratio for rice : water = 1 : less than 1). Set aside
  • Ready all ingredients and cut into small pieces.
  • Transfer all ready ingredients except broccoli to steam pot.  (I use my SEED SD-966 ceramic steam pot)
  • Set timer to 1 hour.  After 30mins steaming, add in broccoli and let it continue to steam until done.
