Steam Black Pepper Potato Lamb Shoulder 马铃薯蒸羊肉 / Lamb Shoulder Soup 羊肉炖汤

Today I need to do a demo for my SEED Electric Lunch Box SD-975 (Click for more info).  So I introduce you guys 2 recipes for lamb shoulder.  Trust me, this really taste so good!




Ingredients :

Lamb shoulder 羊肉
Potato 马铃薯
Red chili 红辣椒

Marinate sauce :

Dark soy sauce 黑酱油
Black pepper sauce 黑胡椒酱
Sesame oil 芝麻油
Corn flour 玉米粉
Light soy sauce (I use liquid amino) 酱油
Pinch of salt 盐
Garlic (cut into small pieces) 蒜
Appropriate water

Method :
  • Cook lamb shoulder meat in a boiling water for 2 minutes to get rid of the blood water of the meat.
  • Marinated lamb shoulder with marinate ingredients above. 
  • Top up with potato and red pepper.
  • Steam for 1 hr - 1.5 hrs. (1 hr the meat already soft)



Ingredients :

Lamb shoulder 羊肉
Half garlic 半颗蒜
Water 水
Bone soup herbs pack 香料

Seasoning :
Oyster sauce 蚝油
Light soy sauce ( I use liquid amino) 酱油
Salt 盐
Dark soy sauce 黑酱油

Below is the bone soup herbs pack :

Method :
  • Cook lamb shoulder in a boiling water for few seconds to get rid of the blood water.  Drain and set aside
  • Put herbs pack to the bottom of the steam pot
  • Add in cooked lamb shoulder as well as half garlic
  • Add some black pepper 
  • Transfer to steamer to steam for 1.5 hrs.
