Steam Herbs Chicken 北芪防党淮山药材蒸鸡




Herbs Ingredients :
北芪 (Radix Astragali)
淮山(Rhizoma dioscoreae)
防党
红枣 (Red Dates)
枸杞 (Goji Berries)

鸡腿 (Chicken)

Seasoning :
Salt
Soy sauce


Method :
1)  Wash and soak herbs ingredients with a little water.
2)  Cook chicken in boiling water for a while to reduce the fat.
3)  Transfer herbs (together with herbs water) and chicken to steam pot (herbs at bottom of the steam pot).  Add in seasoning.
4)  Wrap with aluminium foil (As per picture)
5)  Put to electric lunch box to steam for 2 hours.  (I've refill electric lunch box's base water after an hour to prevent base water dry up)

Tips :
If u want the gravy more thicker and color look nicer, you can transfer gravy to a pan and add some corn flour & dark soy sauce, stir and simmer until texture thicker.

Lunch for my little girl and myself.  Another half leave in my electric lunch box for daddy back for lunch later.
